Explanation
A technique where you input/buffer a SA command into a normal or special move when only one more hit is necessary for the gauge to be filled. The SA will not come out if the normal or special move whiffs, gets guarded, or parried and will only come out when it hits the opponent. This is due to moves giving more gauge when the move hits the opponent. It is vital to know how much gauge the move will give back prior to utilizing this technique, and be aware of special moves that overlap with the SA command. Note: there is a 2 frame window when canceling a normal move to a SA where the gauge has yet increased from the normal move that has hit the opponent.
