Kara Cancel / Empty Cancel

Explanation

The animation of a normal attack can be canceled on its first frame of start-up into a SA, special move, throw, universal overhead, or a PA. It is desirable to cancel the start up of a normal attack which has the property of advancing the character forward, however normal attacks do not move or move the character backwards may be canceled as well.

When kara canceling universal overheads and PAs the joystick must be in neutral. When kara canceling throws, the joystick can be in left, right, or neutral.
